Manual MachinistPro Resources is seeking a 1st Shift Manual Machinist for a client in Fort Wayne, IN. The Manual Machinist will be responsible for operating and maintaining manual machining equipment, including lathes and mills. You will work from blueprints, sketches, or drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances as necessary. Your role will involve setting up machines, making adjustments, and performing routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.Shift and Compensation 1st Shift Monday-Friday 7-3:30 PM Compensation is from 41,600 USD to 62,400 USD per yearJob DutiesOperate manual lathes, mills, and grinders to machine parts to exact specifications.Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and CAD files to determine machining operations required.Set up and adjust machinery to ensure accurate and efficient production.Perform routine maintenance on machining equipment to keep machines in proper working order.Inspect finished parts for quality, ensuring they meet specified tolerances and dimensions.Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize machining processes.Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocolsBackground ProfileAt least 2 years' experience running manual lathes and millsAble to read and interpret various printsAble to observe machine operation to detect out of tolerance machine and adjust accordinglyValid driver's licenseAble to work in various environmentsAble to work overtime as neededAble to pass a drug screen
