Manual Machinist – Welding & Line Boring -Fresno, CA
Quinn Company, your local Caterpillar dealer, is looking for an experienced Manual Machinist to join our Fresno team!

Wages
Starting wage will depend on experience and education. $43.92 - $55.95
Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled professional with hands-on experience in manual machining, conventional lathes, line boring, and threading. Welding experience is highly preferred.
Operate manual lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other machining equipment.
Perform line boring, threading, and precision machining.
Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
Set up machines and produce parts to required specifications.
Perform welding and fabrication work as needed.
Troubleshoot machining issues and maintain equipment.
Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Preferred Experience:
Heavy equipment or industrial machining and repair.
Welding, fabrication, and component restoration.
Caterpillar or other heavy equipment components.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand, bend, and climb as needed.
Ability to work in shop and field conditions as required.

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 2 years of manual machining experience.
Experience with conventional lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
Knowledge of line boring and threading operations.
Welding experience highly preferred.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Experience using precision measuring tools.
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
