Manual MachinistAkron, OH - JOB Pay Range: $20.00 - $35.00/HR Full-time Permanent Position with BenefitsAkron, Ohio area manufacturing company seeks an experienced Manual Machinist. This is a hands-on role focused on low-volume, precision component production for custom automation systems and specialty equipment.Responsibilities:Operate 5HP Bridgeport-style manual mills and manual lathes.Machine low-volume, precision components from aluminum, alloy steel, and stainless steel.Read blueprints and work directly from sketches/designs to hold tight tolerances.Select appropriate tooling, indicate parts, and verify work-holding using NMBT tooling systems.Perform first-piece and in-process inspectionsMaintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace.Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
