Manual Mill Operator - 1st ShiftLocation: West Phoenix, AZ Pay: $24.00 - $26.00/hour DOE Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Overtime AvailableExpress Employment Professionals is currently seeking an experienced Manual Mill Operator for a well-established metal manufacturing company in West Phoenix. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in metal fabrication, machining, aerospace manufacturing, automotive manufacturing, or other precision manufacturing environments.We are looking for dependable individuals with strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to produce quality parts while maintaining tight tolerances.Job ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate manual milling machines to machine metal components to specificationRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and manufacturing instructionsPerform dimensional inspections throughout the machining processUtilize calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipmentMaintain required tolerances and quality standardsSelect appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for machining operationsDeburr, finish, and inspect completed partsComplete production paperwork and inspection records accuratelyPerform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment in good working conditionMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentQualificationsPrevious experience operating manual mills requiredExperience in metal manufacturing, machine shop, aerospace, automotive, or related industries preferredAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsStrong understanding of machining practices and manufacturing processesProficient using calipers, micrometers, scales, gauges, and other measuring instrumentsAbility to work with tight tolerances and quality specificationsStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality partsStable work history with good tenure and reliabilityWhat We're Looking ForExperienced machinists seeking a long-term career opportunityIndividuals who take pride in craftsmanship and quality workmanshipDependable team members with a strong work ethicCandidates who can work independently while maintaining production goals and quality standardsBenefitsCompetitive pay based on experienceOvertime opportunities availableMedical, Dental, and Vision Insurance401(k) ProgramPaid HolidaysVacation/PTOLong-term career growth opportunitiesStable and growing manufacturing environmentStarting pay is $24-$26 per hour depending on experience, with overtime available.Apply today to join a growing manufacturing team and put your machining skills to work with a company that values quality, reliability, and long-term success.
