Job description
Manual Press OperatorThis position fulfills the screen printing production needs of our company by operating the manual screen printing press and printing an assortment of colored images on a variety of different substrates. The Manual Press Operator reports to the ProPrint Production Supervisor. The Manual Press Operator is responsible for the manual production of screen printed textiles. You are responsible for all the steps involved in the printing process from setup to clean up. Careful reading skills and attention to detail are essential in this position.Abilities RequiredRead & understand EnglishBe familiar with industry language and terminology.Ability to effectively and comfortably communicate with co-workers.Be able to lift up to 50lbs.Be comfortable on your feet for the duration of your shift.Specific ResponsibilitiesRead and understand IHWO.Print order as indicated on IHWO.Reset (teardown) press.Perform daily shift maintenance.Key Performance IndicatorsConsistently showing up for work on time and putting in extra time when requiredMaintaining 99% accuracy on ordersHitting and maintaining mutually agreed upon daily, weekly, and monthly production metrics.
