Manual Surface Grinding Technician And MachinistThe purpose of this document is to define the tasks and responsibilities of the Manual Surface Grinding Technician and Machinist as required by Greene Group Ind.Operate manual surface grinding equipment safely and competentlyRead and interpret blueprintsPlan grinding operations to make the best use of timeUse knowledge of tool steel for optimal grinding wheel selectionOperate vertical milling machinesUse measuring tools and equipment to validate dimensional accuracyMinimum 3 years' experience operating manual surface grindersTool and Die experience preferable but not requiredMinimum 3 years' experience operating manual vertical milling machine, Lathe experience preferred but not requiredMust be able to work full shifts standing upMust be able to lift 50 Lbs.PEAK's benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Dependent Care Savings Account (DCA), and 401K plan.
