Job description
Entry-Level Manufacturing PositionJoin our dedicated and growing team D-tect, a VPI Technology Group (VPI) subsidiary, seeking a highly motivated entry-level individual to join our skilled manufacturing team. This position will reside full-time at our location in Draper, Utah. Position will be on a 9/80 schedule, working M-Th 7:30-5 and every other Friday from 7:30-4. Wage: $17.75 hourly with benefits.Qualifications and Requirements:Must be a US citizen (government contract requirement)Manufacturing assembly experience preferredPrevious soldering experience a plusGreat attention to detailManual dexterity, fine motor controls, and strong hand-eye coordinationBe able to lift up to 50 pounds infrequentlyStrong interpersonal/communication skillsSelf-motivation to complete daily production goalsHigh degree of professionalism and maturity with ability to work independentlyAbility to adapt to changes, delays, and unexpected eventsExercise good judgment, keeping in mind company policies and proceduresJob Responsibilities:Perform manufacturing activities in accordance with procedures, job travelers, and instructionsEnsure that any special requirements documented on each specific job traveler are implementedIdentify any defective items and handle according to established proceduresAssure that all paperwork is properly signed for accountabilityMaintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulationsWhy VPI?
