Manufacturing AssociateNesco Resource is hiring a Manufacturing Associate / 1st shift for our Client in Conover, NC Pay: $18.00-$20.00 hour Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.Position OverviewWe are seeking a dependable and hands-on Manufacturing Associate to support our repair operations. This is an entry-level position focused on assisting with equipment repair, preparation, and shipping. The role involves a variety of tasks including bead blasting, painting, assisting with builds, and crate preparation.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands and wants to grow in a manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform bead blasting and surface preparation on partsAssist with equipment builds and repair processesPaint components and finished equipment as neededBuild crates and prepare equipment for shipmentUse hand tools to support assembly and repair workMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow safety procedures and company guidelinesSupport team members with general shop tasks as neededQualificationsExperience using basic hand tools requiredMechanical aptitude and willingness to learnAbility to follow instructions and work independentlyStrong work ethic and reliabilityComfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environmentPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periodsAbility to lift and move materials (up to 50 lbs)Comfortable working in a shop/manufacturing environmentCOM135 Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
