Manufacturing AssociateThe Manufacturing Associate collaborates directly with the team coordinator and department manager to produce quality processes that meets or exceeds IPC standards. This position is key to company quality standards.Vanguard EMS, Inc. is in the service business. Even with Vanguard's state of the art technology, vast manufacturing capability, and leading-edge information tools, we wake up every day thinking about how best to serve our customers, suppliers, and the communities in which we live.What you'll do:Prepare circuit boards for the coating processManually apply conformal coating to circuit boards with an HVLP spray gun.Apply adhesives to circuit boardsAble to work with chemicalsInspect and quality check work to ensure that products meet all customer and regulatory requirementsCommunicate quality issues to the appropriate team and manager as neededContribute to a positive team working environment and maintain a clean, organized area.Other duties:Willingness to assist in other departments as needed.Participate in controlled process improvement projects.Performs other duties as assigned.
