Job description
Job TitleDuties and Responsibilities In this role you will be responsible for assembly, labeling cables, packaging, in-process testing, operation of basic hand tools and operation of assigned production/manufacturing.This role is long term temporary for at least 3 months. The shift is 1:30PM-10PM Monday – Friday.Use a variety of hand tools and electronic equipment such as rulers, scales, micrometers, calipers and similar itemsComply with all safety requirements including manufacturing practices and procedures, standard operating procedures and manufacturing documentationUse a microscope as needed to support assembly and inspection activitiesInterpret, read and follow work instructions and engineering drawingsRecord process documentationPrep, strip, tin, crimp and solder medical cables in a bench-top assembly environmentBasic QualificationsMinimum of 1–2 years of experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment. Manual dexterity to work with small parts.Minimum of 6 months of soldering experience with small parts.Ability to follow written procedures and work instructions.Ability to use a microscope.Ability to perform effectively in a continuous manufacturing environment.Ability to complete paperwork accurately and legibly without repetitive mistakes.Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.Preferred Qualifications1 or more years of manufacturing experience1 or more years of soldering experienceSAPEqual Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
