Job PostingEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCollaborates across departments to ensure welded steel members are staged correctly for processing.Utilizes overhead cranes to move parts.Occasionally uses forklift to transfer parts.Continuous improvement in support of department and company goalsSupports, participates and encourages team buildingProvides feedback, both positive and negative, to the team, other related departments and the supervisorPromotes a positive work environmentFollow all of Porter Corp's procedures and policiesWork safely and efficientlyStay customer focusedPerform other duties as assignedEducation and/or ExperienceThis position requires a knowledge of basic material handling methods to ensure a quality product is delivered to all customersWork requires high school diploma or equivalentTravelThis position requires minimal to no travelComputer SkillsBasic computer skillsDemonstrated proficiency using EPICOR ERP or similar systemsOther RequirementsAble to read blue printsExceptional interpersonal skillsMust be open-minded to new ideas and conceptsPossesses very good problem-solving skillsMust be self-motivated and results orientedOther SkillsSafe and efficient material handling to minimize damageAccuracy and completeness of deliverable materials to customersPlayCore is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
