This role involves supporting the LEAN and High-Performance culture, conducting in-process quality inspections, and adhering to internal SOPs. The operator is also expected to solve problems related to quality, materials, and equipment in collaboration with engineering teams. Additionally, they are required to work according to a daily schedule, meet or exceed output targets, and have a strong understanding of the product flow and handling procedures within the department. Essential FunctionsResponsible for setup, coating, and inspection of finished coating materialsInspect for in process quality as well as support the LEAN and High-Performance culture. Read/ follow written instructions and follow verbal instructions. Read and understand internal SOP.  Solve problems in areas of quality, materials and equipment with engineering teams.  Works to a daily schedule and meets/ exceeds output targets by understanding the product flow and handling procedures within the department.  Work with chemicals such as paints, adhesives, and primers daily.  Complete all internal departmental documentation accurately and on time.  Communicate well between departments, to notify leaders and engineers to problem solve issues. Perform preventative maintenance on all machines. Use appropriate PPE for designated area.Perform all tasks assigned and requested by management.  U.S. Citizenship or have U.S. Permanent Resident Status required.GED or High School Diploma required.Relevant Work Experience: 4+ years of manufacturing experience required.Ability to work independently and within a team.Ability to perform basic math, reading, writing and computer skills such as basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and use of Microsoft Office.Personal/ Soft skills: Must Demonstrate effective organizational and verbal/written English. communication skills.Ability to lift and or move up to 40 lbs.This position is subject to meeting U.S. export compliance and/or U.S. Government contracting citizenship eligibility requirements.Competitive CompensationPay Range:  $22.5/hr to $30.5/hrParticipation in Annual Incentive ProgramBenefit & Retirement Plans Parker offers competitive benefit programs, including:Comprehensive coverage for medical, prescription drugs, dental, vision, voluntary optional life, accident insurance, hospital indemnity insurance and critical illness insurance with competitive premium cost. 401(k) Plan with company matching contributions at 100% of the first 5% of pay.Company provided defined-contribution retirement plan with annual contribution equal to 3% of pay.Career development and tuition reimbursement.Other benefits including paid parental leave, short and long-term disability programs, adoption assistance, a Care.com membership and financial planning assistance are provided at no cost to you.Supplemental benefit programs including identity protection, legal protection, and pet wellness are available at competitive rates.Paid Time Off and Company-Paid Holidays. Parker is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
