Manufacturing AssociatePay rate: $20.80 per hour with a .25 cent shift differential for 2nd & 3rd shifts and the opportunity to make $23.13 in the first 90 days.Openings on off-shift onlyCategory/Off-Shift: Hourly Full-Time Monday-Friday with frequent mandatory scheduled overtimePhysical location: Lexington Container, 2575 Palumbo Drive, Lexington, KY 40509The job you will perform:Safely operating machineryReading factory ordersAccurately reading gauges, tape measurer and other test equipmentUtilizing basic shop math, inspecting and setting up orders which may include carrying tooling (ie ink buckets, printing dies and cutting dies) to machineryAccurately completing quality and administrative document checks to ensure specific directions are followedThis person will also be assigned to clean-up functions such as blowing down the machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming and sweeping the machine area, as well as picking up and shredding scrap.The skills you will bring:Counting and stacking finished productReading factory ordersHousekeeping standardsBasic shop math and similar counting toolsThe benefits you will enjoy:Paid time off including vacation and holidaysRetirement, pension, and 401k matching programMedical & dental and other optional added benefitsEducation & development (including tuition reimbursement)Life & disability insuranceThe career you will build:Leadership trainingPromotional opportunitiesThe impact you will make:We continue to build a better future for people, the plant, and our company!
