Manufacturing AssociateTournesol Siteworks is a national manufacturer of landscape products for green buildings based in the San Francisco Bay Area. We're a growing company, with manufacturing facilities in California, Washington and Texas, working on environmentally-conscious commercial construction projects across the U.S and Canada. We are looking for a real team player.The Production team is currently seeking an individual with general working experience for our Jurupa Valley, CA manufacturing facility. The Fabrication team works together with other departments to create, build, assemble and ship products for the commercial construction industry.As a Manufacturing Associate, you will work under the direction of the Production Manager and directly with the team leads to create product to be shipped to our customers, as well as other tasks as assigned including warehouse upkeep and organizing. Processing materials for custom products from drawings/blueprints. This position is located in our Jurupa Valley, CA manufacturing facility. You'll have a direct hand in accomplishing our #1 goal – a successful project in every way.What You Will DoSanding products down to prepare for paintingApply bondo, primer and wood filler to ensure there are no defectsRead and interpret production schedules and ordersInspect the quality of the material before, during and after the various processes to ensure quality standards are metComplete required paperwork for inventory purposesReport defective material and faulty equipment to Production Manager immediatelyMaintain a clean work environment and abide by all plant safety regulations and work rulesOrganizing warehouse spaceProvide additional support to other departmentsWhat You Will NeedAbility to lift up to 50lbsAble to read measuring tape.You should have strong attention to detailAbility to wear a respirator at all timesReliable transportation, regular attendance and punctuality are criticalAbility to travel domestically for in field repairs, desirableWhat We OfferCompetitive salaryPaid time offPaid holidaysMedical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance401k with employer matchProfit SharingPhysical DemandsCandidate must have the ability to stand or walk for extended periods, lift and carry objects (up to 50lbs), and perform repetitive tasks.
