You will gain valuable skills, and an understanding of the most technologically advanced part of an automobile – the automatic transmission.You will learn how to disassemble, inspect component parts, and/or assemble transmissions.You will be trained in the use of specialty tools and gages.You will learn how to use our state-of-the-art computer system for work instructions, to ensure the highest possible quality.You will have the opportunity to grow with our company, as you continue to increase your knowledge of our products and operations.For our part, AISIN Aftermarket & Service of America, Inc is looking for individuals that are looking to learn and grow.We care deeply about the quality of our products and services, and value employees that do the same.We aim to provide an enjoyable working environment for all of our team members, and are looking for individuals to contribute to, and enhance that environment through communication, teamwork, and pride in our company.Prior manufacturing or automatic transmission experience would be considered a plus but is not required.Operate & use hand tools, controls and equipment.High School Diploma/GED.Lift assembled transmissions & transmission components (up to 50 lbs.)Prolonged standing (8-10 hours, per day)Visually inspect product and components for any deformitiesComplete quality checks using gauges, micrometers, SMART screens, etc.
