Manufacturing AssociatePrideStaff is looking for a Manufacturing Associate to work with one of our clients. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a production environment and will be able to operate power tools.Shift: 1st - M-F 6AM – 2:30PM + OT as Req'd 2nd - M-F 2:40PM - 11:10PM + OT as Req'dPay Rate: $15.00 - 1st Shift $17.00 - 2nd ShiftDuties and Responsibilities:Assemble, install, and operate machines and productsUsing written and verbal instructions, perform necessary tasksDirect, coordinate, and supervise assemblers, inspectors, helpers, and others engaged in assembling productsConduct routine inspections of completed assembliesPrevent accidents and comply with safety regulationsMaintain required records of production, including cost of production, time, labor, materials used, and defective partsKeep abreast of new techniques, designs, and developments in assembly industryAbility to consistently work at a fast paceRequirements And Skills:One year experience directly handling parts including bolts, nuts, washers, and fasteners preferredSet up, operate, and dismantle machinery, and perform other job-related tasksGrasp, load, and unload materials using machinery and power hand toolsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted regularlyAbility to lift 70+lbs as needed using approved team-lift practicesDocument all activities using electronic and manual record-keeping systemsMaintain equipment and tools, and participate in preventive maintenance activitiesAssist with inventory control, purchasing, and reportingPerform other job-related duties as requiredMust be able to stand for extended periods at a timeCompensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $15.00 - $17.00 Per Hour
