Role
Manufacturing Engineer focused on improving safety, quality, service, and cost in manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
develop and implement process improvements, participate in daily operations including Tier process and OEE analysis, lead continuous improvement projects, troubleshoot defects via root cause analysis, manage supply chain projects, and support capital investments and new technology deployment.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science; minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience in private, public, government, or military sectors.
Preferred
3+ years of experience, degrees in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, experience leading cross-functional projects, and proficiency in CI and Lean methodologies.
High-Value
On-site at Ames, IA, with up to 10% travel; focused on manufacturing within a biopharma context, with primary responsibilities around process optimization, risk management, and strategic supply chain initiatives.
