Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Plainview, NY | Onsite Position
We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Plainview, NY . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, process improvement, quality control, and CNC programming, with the ability to work closely with production and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and improve manufacturing processes and production systems
Identify opportunities for process improvement, increased efficiency, and cost reduction
Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure product quality
Collaborate with engineering, production, and other cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing issues
Create and maintain work instructions, process flow diagrams, and other manufacturing documentation
Manage manufacturing projects from conception through completion, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met
Train and support production employees on new processes, equipment, and procedures
Utilize CAD software and engineering principles to support manufacturing operations
Apply CNC programming knowledge to manufacturing and production processes
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field preferred
University program certificate and/or 2–4 years of related manufacturing experience or training may be considered
Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience preferred
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems
Experience with quality control and process improvement methodologies
Knowledge and proficiency in CNC programming
Proficiency with CAD software and Microsoft Office
Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to read and interpret technical procedures, engineering documents, and diagrams
Strong mathematical and reasoning skills
Ability to work independently and effectively within a team environment

Schedule: Full-Time
Work Location: Onsite – Plainview, NY
Pay Details: $38.50 to $48.00 per hour
