Job Summary
We're hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to improve production processes, optimize assembly methods, and drive continuous improvement at our manufacturing facility in Parsons, Tennessee. You'll work closely with production, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to identify inefficiencies, solve manufacturing challenges, and implement solutions that improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.
This is a full-time, first-shift, onsite position where your work will directly influence how products are built. From supporting capital equipment projects to improving plant layouts and introducing new manufacturing processes, you'll help turn engineering improvements into practical results on the production floor.
What You'll Do
Analyze and improve manufacturing processes, assembly methods, and production workflows to enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and cost performance.
Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including Manufacturing Bills of Materials (MBOM), product routings, work instructions, plant layouts, and assembly standards.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma principles, including Kaizen events, 5S, workflow balancing, and time studies.
Support or lead capital equipment projects, automation initiatives, and process improvements that enhance manufacturability and production performance.
Collaborate with design engineering and production teams on new product introductions, engineering changes, pilot runs, and employee training to ensure smooth implementation.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably in manufacturing or process engineering.
Experience participating in, supporting, or leading a capital equipment or manufacturing improvement project.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze manufacturing processes and identify practical improvements.
Professional, respectful communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with production employees, engineers, and cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Lean or Six Sigma certification and automation experience are preferred.
We offer an annual base salary of $95,000–$120,000.
