Manufacturing Engineer II / III

Our client is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II or III to support the assembly, integration, and production of cutting-edge spacecraft hardware. What You'll Do
Develop, update, and maintain manufacturing work instructions and production procedures
Translate engineering designs, drawings, and specifications into clear manufacturing processes
Support assembly, integration, and production activities for spacecraft hardware
Review engineering changes and incorporate updates into manufacturing documentation
Partner with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and integration teams to resolve production challenges
Gather feedback from technicians and production personnel to improve build processes
Redline, revise, and optimize manufacturing documentation
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase quality, efficiency, and repeatability
Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and support root cause analysis efforts
Ensure production processes meet safety, quality, and operational requirements
Required Qualifications
Manufacturing Engineer II
2-5 years of experience in manufacturing, production, integration, or process engineering
Experience creating and maintaining work instructions, manufacturing procedures, or process documentation
Ability to independently support production operations and process improvement efforts
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Manufacturing Engineer III
5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
Experience developing manufacturing processes and procedures for new products
Ability to lead process improvement initiatives from concept through implementation
Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers
Proven ability to work effectively in complex manufacturing environments
Preferred Qualifications
Aerospace, spacecraft, satellite, aviation, or other complex hardware manufacturing experience
Experience supporting assembly, integration, and test operations
CAD experience with SolidWorks, Creo, NX, AutoCAD, or similar tools
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and/or AS9100 environments
Experience authoring technical procedures, build travelers, or manufacturing instructions
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of
