Position Summary
We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer Technician to improve production processes, support new product launches, and drive continuous improvement in a multi-SKU, semi-custom manufacturing environment.
This role bridges Engineering and Operations, focusing on process optimization, troubleshooting, quality, throughput, and cost reduction .
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and improve production processes, workflows, and line balance.
Conduct time studies and identify bottlenecks and efficiency opportunities.
Support daily production troubleshooting and corrective actions.
Lead or support Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma improvement initiatives.
Support new product introduction, including manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, and work instructions.
Create and update CAD drawings, layouts, tooling, and production documentation.
Collect and analyze production data to measure efficiency, quality, and process improvements.
Partner with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and R&D to resolve problems and implement improvements.
Support capital equipment evaluations and root-cause analysis.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of hands-on manufacturing/process engineering experience.
Experience in a production environment; high-mix or configurable manufacturing preferred.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
Ability to recommend and implement practical improvements.
Preferred:
Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or Six Sigma experience.
Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt.
SolidWorks or similar CAD experience.
Experience with tooling, fixtures, jigs, or sewn/assembly-based manufacturing.
Experience with NPI and structured problem-solving.
Salary Range: $75,000-$95,000 annually
