Manufacturing FloaterCardinal Staffing Service is hiring a Manufacturing floater located in Harrison Twp, MI. We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Manufacturing floater to assemble and inspect metal parts in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and able to work with hand and power tools efficiently.Responsibilities of the Manufacturing floater include:Cross train in multiple manufacturing and production departments.Operate nail guns, saws, and other hand/power tools safelyGrinding operationsPress operationsSorting and inspecting partsPlug gauging and quality checksBuilding and assembling shipping boxesFollow all company safety procedure and quality standardsMaintain and clean and organized work areaAdapt to changing job assignments and priorities throughout the workdayQualifications:Previous construction, manufacturing, warehouse, or pallet-building experience preferredAbility to lift to 50–75 lbs regularlyComfortable standing, bending, and working in a physical environmentAbility to use measuring tools and follow specificationsStrong attendance and work ethicAvailable shifts:1st Shift, 7:00am-3:30pm Mon-Fri, $16 hr.Cardinal Staffing also follows all applicable state and local laws regarding sick time, paid time off, and retirement savings programs.
