Job description

Manufacturing Floor Trainer (2nd Shift)Join our production team as a Manufacturing Floor Trainer (2nd shift) and play a key role in delivering quality products. This hands-on position offers the chance to work in a collaborative environment where your attention to detail and commitment to excellence make a real difference. Help us deliver solutions that ensure Life Is On everywhere, for everyone and at every moment.What will you do?Assist in the development of new temporary workers, retraining current employees, cross training, etc.Work with multiple individuals possessing different skill levels.Have strong interpersonal skills.Maintain a professional demeanor.Help with troubleshooting.Provide objective student evaluations during the training period.Encourage participants to learn from themselves and the class.Assemble components and products following detailed specifications and standardized processes.Inspect finished products to verify quality and ensure adherence to standards.Work closely with team members to achieve production goals and maintain efficient workflows.Keep your work area clean and organized while promptly reporting any equipment issues.What are the key skills we are looking for?Customer Orientation — intermediate level; ensuring product quality meets internal and external customer expectations.Drives for Results — intermediate level; meeting production targets while maintaining quality standards.Digital Literacy — developing level; using digital tools and systems to track production data.Operational Health and Safety Management — developing level; following safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.Problem Solving — developing level; identifying and escalating production issues quickly.Quality Control & Inspection — developing level; inspecting products to ensure they meet specifications.Automation Integration — foundational level; working alongside automated systems in the production process.Lean Methodology — foundational level; supporting continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor.What qualifications will make you successful?Strong attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work.Candidate must possess applicable wiring experience.Must have all applicable knowledge and competencies for skilled, experienced wiring.Must have no more than 3 points with no written policy infractions.Must be in your role as a FTE of Schneider Electric for at least 6 months.Must have "Good/Superior" Quality with no more than 3 defects listed in Gainseeker per quarter.Team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.Dependable and accountable — you take pride in your work and follow through.Eager to learn and adapt to new processes and techniques.Must be able to speak, read, and understand English fluently.What's in it for me?Schneider Electric offers a robust benefits package to support our employees such as flexible work arrangements, paid family leave, 401(k)+ match, and more.
