Job description
Manufacturing HelperSeeking a Manufacturing Helper with exceptional work ethics to fill our current 2nd shift opening, 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m., Monday – Friday. The Manufacturing Helper assists the Assistant Operator in the safe operation of quality product by continual adjustments of gauges that control extruder speed, temperatures, pressures, and winder speeds while also focusing on safety and efficiency. Also performing quality checks to ensure product is meeting specifications.Responsibilities:Knows and adheres to all safety rules and proceduresPack and label product to meet production scheduleFollow direction of the Assistant Operator once production schedule is obtainedPerform quality checks to meet specificationPrepare station for production processAssist in the operations of manufacturing of quality productsHelp Assistant Operator complete all required reportsComply with Company standards regarding housekeeping and 6S on machines and surrounding areasAbility to help troubleshoot when problems arisePerform duties of other team members as required during breaks and absencesOther duties as assignedQualifications:Education: High school diploma/GED OR 1 year of factory-related work experience in-lieu of HSD/GEDRequirements: Minimum 1 year of factory-related experience Strong mechanical aptitude Awareness towards safety Able to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team and independentlyNesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
