Machine Operator – 1st ShiftLocation: Sterling Heights, MI Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–2:30 PM Starting Pay: $15.50/hour Pay After 90 Days: $17.00/hour Overtime: Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production needs.Position OverviewWe are hiring Machine Operators for an automotive manufacturing facility in Sterling Heights, MI. Machine Operators are responsible for operating production equipment used to manufacture automotive components while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards.This position offers steady first-shift hours and a pay increase to $17.00/hour after successfully completing 90 days.What You'll DoOperate production machinery used to manufacture automotive componentsLoad and unload parts or materials from production equipmentStart, stop, and monitor machines during the production processPerform basic machine checks and follow established operating proceduresInspect finished parts for defects, damage, or other quality concernsRemove completed parts and prepare them for the next stage of productionMaintain required production pace and quality standardsReport machine malfunctions, quality issues, or safety concerns to supervisionKeep the machine and surrounding work area clean and organizedFollow all plant safety procedures and required PPE guidelinesPerform other production duties as assignedSchedule1st Shift: 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, Monday through FridayOvertime and weekend work may be scheduled depending on production needs. Candidates should be willing to work additional hours when required.PayStarting Rate: $15.50/hourAfter successfully completing 90 days, the pay rate increases to $17.00/hour.QualificationsPrevious machine operating, manufacturing, automotive, or production experience is preferred but not requiredComfortable working around manufacturing machinery and equipmentAbility to stand and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shiftAbility to follow machine operating instructions and safety proceduresStrong attention to quality and detailDependable attendance and punctualityWillingness to work overtime and weekends when production requires it
