Leadership Role in Maintenance and Electronic TradesLead Maintenance and Electronic Trades supporting a highly automated food manufacturing operation. This is a leadership-first role focused on setting priorities, developing the team, improving maintenance execution, and keeping equipment ready for production.You'll:Lead preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance work.Direct troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, automation, and controls systems.Use CMMS data and maintenance KPIs to improve PM compliance, labor utilization, work execution, and equipment reliability.Coach and develop Maintenance and Electronic Trades across varying skill levels.Balance real-time Production needs with planned maintenance priorities.Partner with Operations, Engineering, Sanitation, FSQA, and Maintenance leadership.Equipment & SkillsMechanical systems | Electrical troubleshooting | PLCs/HMIs | VFDs & motor controls | Instrumentation | Automation & controls | Preventive maintenance | CMMS | Equipment reliabilityYou need the technical breadth to effectively lead multiple trades—you do not need to be the expert in every discipline.What Success Looks Like:80%+ labor utilization90%+ PM work-order complianceImproved schedule compliance and reduced maintenance-related downtimeActive skill development plans for direct reportsA safer, more accountable, increasingly self-sufficient maintenance teamYou'll Be a Strong Fit If You HaveApproximately 5+ years of manufacturing/industrial leadership experienceExperience leading multidisciplinary maintenance workPreventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance experience in an automated manufacturing environmentWorking knowledge across mechanical, electrical, automation, and controls systemsExperience using a CMMS and maintenance KPIs to manage performanceFood manufacturing experience is not required. Experience from other established, highly automated manufacturing environments can translate. SAP, our specific equipment/control platforms, and formal education are flexible when you bring equivalent technical and leadership experience.This is an on-site, 1st-shift role in a cold, wet food-manufacturing environment. You'll work alongside an active production operation where priorities can change quickly and strong Maintenance/Operations coordination matters.You'll have the opportunity to develop the team, strengthen preventive maintenance, improve equipment reliability, and help build a more proactive maintenance organization.Clemens Food Group does not accept unsolicited resumes from search or staffing firms.
