A-Line Staffing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift | Automated Manufacturing Equipment). If interested in this Industrial Maintenance Technician position APPLY NOW for IMMEDIATE consideration Brittney Blackman | | text Industrial Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift) | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION: Location: Cockeysville, MD – 100% on-site Payrate: $31.05/hr Required Availability: Full-Time (40+ hrs/week) | Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM (2nd Shift) Must be able to work 1st shift during training for ~3 months: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM Must be available for onboarding week Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM Overtime as needed Industrial Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift) | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS: The Industrial Maintenance Technician will support production by operating and maintaining highly automated manufacturing equipment, including performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting to reduce downtime. This role completes mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance activities, supports equipment changeovers, and ensures accurate documentation for quality and maintenance processes. This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Industrial Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift) | RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform routine setup/operation and minor/major maintenance, PMs, and troubleshooting on automated manufacturing equipment Control and adjust machine settings; support production, quality, downtime, and waste targets during operation Perform mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance repairs/adjustments/inspections on production and facility-related equipment Independently support multiple production lines, including setups and changeovers Provide operator support across the assigned area based on operational needs Conduct root-cause analysis activities for process or product exceptions Complete accurate quality, safety, and maintenance documentation and logs Coordinate with external vendors/contractors as needed Follow established procedures and site safety/housekeeping requirements Work overtime as needed based on business demands Industrial Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift) | REQUIREMENTS: Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable) Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days Experience: 4+ years relevant experience Technical Skills: Mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical troubleshooting/repair on complex equipment Documentation/Blueprints: Ability to read electrical/pneumatic schematics and interpret manuals/diagrams/specs Computer Skills: Basic PC skills (including MS Excel and MS Word) Tools/Diagnostics: Comfortable using measurement tools/precision instruments (multimeter experience preferred) Preferred (Nice to Have): Experience with industrial controls (instrumentation/ladder logic/VFD/servo), PLCs, robotics, vision systems, AutoCAD/SolidWorks, SAP maintenance modules, basic machining/welding Take the Next Step!
