Manufacturing Operator 2Trident Consulting is seeking a Manufacturing Operator 2 for one of our clients in Sheboygan Falls, WI 53085. Pay rate: $22–$25/hour w2. Assignment: 12 months. Openings: 3 positions.Shift: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:30 PM. Additional 4 hours during the week to complete 40 hours/week. Weekend day shift supporting a 24/7 manufacturing operation.EducationHigh School Diploma, GED, or HSED requiredExperienceHiring manager prefers 2–3 years of manufacturing/production experienceExperience in a regulated manufacturing, chemical, pharmaceutical, laboratory, or industrial environment is preferredJob ResponsibilitiesSupport day-to-day operations of a continuous manufacturing lineMaintain continuous operation of the manufacturing processVerify quality and integrity of materials and equipmentIdentify equipment malfunctions and take corrective action when approvedPerform in-process analytical testing and basic interpretation according to work instructionsSupport managers, supervisors, chemists, and other manufacturing team membersFollow safety, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory proceduresMaintain cleanliness of manufacturing areas and equipmentAssist Maintenance with equipment/facility operations and upkeepCommunicate effectively with manufacturing staff and other departmentsRequired SkillsManufacturing/production operations experienceMechanical aptitudeBasic mathematical skillsAbility to read and understand written procedures/protocolsAttention to detailAbility to identify and respond to process problemsGood verbal and written communicationAbility to operate hand tools, lab equipment, calculators, and weighing/measuring devicesForklift or hand pallet truck experience preferred; training will be providedBasic Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skillsPhysical & Work EnvironmentMust be able to sit and stand for extended periodsMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. unassistedPre-employment physical requiredVisual acuity exam requiredPPE is required and provided by the siteMay work around chemicals including: Nitrocellulose in IPA, Acetone, Butanol, EthanolMust comply with applicable FDA, OSHA, EPA, DNR, DOT, and other regulatory requirementsThe ideal candidate is a dependable Manufacturing/Production Operator with 2–3+ years of hands-on experience, strong safety awareness, mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a continuous manufacturing environment.
