Job Description

The Manufacturing Production Operator position has primary responsibilities in the manufacturing of finished, ready-for-sale products for incorporation to the Company's inventory. These activities range from the identification and gathering of the appropriate raw materials for a production batch run, following the proper methods and instruction worksheet, to the release of QC-approved product for packaging and sale. This position operates across two areas within the Company facilities, the Packaging Area and the Manufacturing Area. Within each area a Leader will be appointed from the area Production Operators. The Leader will act as the point of contact for that area, handle daily and weekly Production Scheduling for their respective area, and serve as an advocate for Operators within their area when working with Leaders and Managers within the company.

Every Production Operator is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and upholding the requirements of the Company Quality Plan. Clear, effective communication and collaboration is an essential part of this position.

Operators will be trained in the general methods, processes, and critical to quality protocols applicable across both areas and may be asked to specialize in a single area. Operators take part in the maintenance and cleaning of equipment, tools, and the production areas. This position communicates with the Quality Manager, and the QC & Development Lab to ensure all production activities adhere to Company methods and product quality specifications.

This position reports to the Production Manager.

Note: Starting compensation will be based on experience!

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Valid driver's license

* Facility Orientation and Security Plan review

* Manufacturing Methods orientation and review

* Forklift training

* Emergency Action Plan review

* Harassment training

* HAZWOPER training
