This full-time position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic, safety-focused environment committed to operational excellence and continuous improvement.Primary Duties:Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and product quality.Perform routine inspections and maintain accurate production records to comply with quality standards and regulatory requirements.Collaborate with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot equipment issues and implement corrective actions.Adhere strictly to safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements and participating in lean manufacturing efforts.Handle materials and products according to established procedures, maintaining attention to detail and minimizing waste.Assist in training new operators and sharing best practices to promote a collaborative and inclusive team culture.Qualifications:Demonstrated proficiency in operating manufacturing machinery and understanding of production processes.Strong attention to detail with commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively within a diverse workplace.Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety guidelines in a fast-paced environment.Experience utilizing computerized systems for production tracking and reporting is a plus.Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges.Education / Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is highly valued. Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided to support skill development and ensure successful integration into the production team.The US base rate for this full-time position is 22.5. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge and skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay equity. Compensation decisions are made based on the specific facts and circumstances of each role and candidate.As a Dorman US contributor, you (and eligible dependents, as applicable) will have access to medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid time off (sick/vacation), and Paid Parental Leave. U.S. employees are entitled to paid holidays, floating holidays, and paid time off starting in their first year of employment depending on hire date.
