Job description

Production Operator – Cleanroom Manufacturing1st Shift (4-10's) Monday-ThursdayPosition SummaryThe Production Operator is responsible for safely operating manual and/or automated manufacturing equipment to produce and assemble high-quality products. This position performs manufacturing, assembly, packaging, labeling, and inspection activities within a cleanroom environment while following established procedures, safety requirements, SOPs, and GMP standards. The Production Operator plays an important role in ensuring products meet quality specifications and are completed accurately and on time for customers.Essential ResponsibilitiesOperate, monitor, inspect, and troubleshoot production machinery and assembly equipment.Follow documented work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).Monitor materials and equipment throughout the manufacturing process.Assemble products according to established procedures and specifications.Perform visual inspections to identify defects and ensure products meet quality requirements.Load and unload materials and products from machines, carts, and dollies.Package and label acceptable finished products according to specifications.Ensure accuracy of product packaging, labeling, and traceability.Complete Device History Records (DHRs), production documentation, and associated paperwork accurately.Maintain accurate production and inventory records.Use small hand tools and precision devices as required during the manufacturing and assembly process.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.Follow all safety and quality assurance standards.Communicate effectively and professionally with coworkers, supervisors, and other staff.Identify opportunities to improve equipment, tools, processes, quality, and overall efficiency.Support department initiatives, including 5S and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs.Education & ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent required.0–3 years of cleanroom experience.Experience following work instructions, process documentation, and established procedures.Ability to accurately complete production paperwork and maintain inventory accuracy.Medical device or other regulated industry experience preferred.Experience working in a manufacturing, production, or assembly environment is beneficial.Required Skills & QualificationsStrong attention to detail with a focus on quality and precision.Ability to produce high-quality work in a high-volume manufacturing environment.Strong organizational skills.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Good decision-making and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work effectively as part of a team.Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to support department initiatives.Ability to read, understand, and follow detailed work instructions and procedures.Ability to identify product defects and quality concerns.Comfortable using computers and completing production documentation.Flexible and adaptable to changing production and business requirements.Core CompetenciesProblem Solving & AnalysisResults DrivenAttention to DetailQuality FocusCustomer FocusTechnical AptitudeCommunicationTeamworkOrganizationWork EnvironmentThis position works in both manufacturing and office environments.
