Equipment may include, but is not limited to: carton erectors, partition inserters, product inserters (MPV, VPM, PLU), foil dispensers, top closers, palletization equipment. Manual responsibilities include loading, building and making boxes, hand packaging of bottles, loading labels. Maintenance includes performing routine cleaning and minor maintenance of equipment to ensure smooth operations. Material handling includes loading/unloading packaging materials such as corrugate, containers or other raw materials. Documentation includes accurately documenting records of finished goods, packaging specifications, or any visual quality checks. Perform changeovers of various packaging equipment (e.g., case erector, partition inserter, top sealer, etc.). Applies correct labels. Perform quality checks consisting of visual inspection of overall product, labels, and packaging integrity for defects. Housekeeping. Perform autonomous maintenance.Performance metrics include: labeling accuracy, quality control compliance, line clearance accuracy, autonomous maintenance completion.What makes you great:Qualifications and requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, minimum 6 months of manufacturing experience preferred, capable of lifting 55 pounds and standing for a minimum of 12 hours, able to work with multiple types of equipment simultaneously, high cleanliness standards for the machines and work area.Physical demands include standing, walking, pushing and pulling, reaching with hands and arms, climbing or balancing, using hands to finger, handle, or feel; stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, talking or hearing, sitting, lifting and/or moving up to 10 lbs., frequently lifting and/or moving up to 38 lbs., occasionally lifting and/or moving or pushing/pulling up to 55 lbs., and specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.It is required to act in a safe and environmentally responsible manner at all times by adhering to all ALPLA policies and procedures and Safety Standards (OSHA).ALPLA is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Prohibits Discrimination and Harassment of Any Kind: ALPLA is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
