Kitchen Mip Packaging TechnicianIllicit Gardens is a leading cannabis cultivation company dedicated to producing high-quality cannabis products. Through the ESOP, eligible employees earn an ownership stake in Illicit Gardens over time, allowing them to directly share in the Company's long-term success.We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Kitchen Mip Packaging Technician to join our team at Illicit Gardens. The ideal candidate will be responsible for packaging and preparing cannabis products in compliance with all relevant regulations and company standards.Key Responsibilities:Operate packaging machinery and equipment to package cannabis productsAssemble packaging components and ensure proper labeling of packagesInspect finished packaged products for quality and complianceMaintain a clean, orderly, and efficient workspaceSecure palletized load shipments using shrink wrap or protective strappingComplete logs and documentation related to packaging tasks and inventoryInstall product guides, funnels, stops, and other adjustable parts to aid packagingCollaborate with the kitchen and Mip teams to ensure smooth workflow and compliance with METRC, Counterpoint, and Google SheetsQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; GED acceptedKnowledge of cannabis industry regulations and compliance requirementsStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accuratelyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysical stamina and ability to stand for extended periodsExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to consistently wear appropriate PPE (ie; masks, gloves, Tyvek suits) to prevent cross contamination and uphold cleanliness standardsBenefits:Competitive salary and benefits packageOpportunities for professional development and career growthA supportive and inclusive work environmentEmployee discounts on Illicit Gardens products100% Employee Owned Company (ESOP)401(K)Physical and Mental Demands:While performing the duties of this position, the employee is consistently required to remain stationary and standing for several hours at a time; they are also required to maneuver throughout the facility, and to work with different tools, machines, and shipments - occasionally being asked to lift up to 25 lbs. The employee will also be required to focus on and observe multiple processes throughout their shift. The employee must be prepared to work in varying temperatures - to include both hot and cold - throughout the facility.
