Job description
Manufacturing PositionAvailable shifts:1st Shift: 5:00 am-1:00 pm Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays during peak season.2nd Shift: 1:00 pm-11:00 pm Monday through Thursday with occasional Fridays & Saturdays during peak season.What we offer:Starting pay of $20 per hour, plus $1.63/hour shift differential for 2nd shift.Opportunity to earn $22-$25 per hour after completing 720 hours workedA consistent work schedule with no rotating shifts, plus overtime opportunitiesSundays and holidays offA comprehensive benefits package after completing the probationary periodYou may be a great fit for our team if you:Have a high school diploma or equivalentCan work up to 12-hour shifts, including occasional SaturdaysPrevious manufacturing experience is preferred but not requiredBring a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop new skillsRequirements for all positions:Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and quality standardsTroubleshoot and problem-solve in a variety of scenarios, including but not limited to mechanical equipment and system issuesPerform machine setups and changeovers for a variety of productsMust have basic math skills; including the ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, work with fractions, and calculate averagesRead, understand, and plan work based on production ordersParticipate in cross-training and continuously develop skills to operate multiple machines throughout the plantFollow direction from management, supervisors, and lead operatorsAbility to read and interpret standard and metric rulers and safely use basic hand tools, including wrenches, channel-lock pliers, and screwdriversPerform a variety of production tasks, including regularly lifting up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lifting up to 75 lbs.Maintain strong attention to detail and be comfortable operating computerized equipmentCommunicate effectively and collaborate with a diverse teamSafely operate stand-up or sit-down lift equipment at heights of up to 25 feet, as needed.Ability to operate a computer and use Microsoft Office related software.Other duties as assignedSafety:Observe all safety issues, practice safe working habits and report any unsafe situations to a supervisor.Be adequately trained in lock out/tag out and all other safety related programs required by the company.Adhere to all environmental health and safety policies.Apply lean manufacturing principles to eliminate waste in the production (such as participating in Safety Blitzes)Working conditions:The employee may experience variable working conditions in the work environment.
