Job description
Manufacturing Production Associate Calhoun & AdairsvilleShaw Industries is seeking dedicated and safety-conscious individuals to join our manufacturing and distribution teams at our Calhoun facilities. These roles are essential to maintaining efficient production and delivering high-quality products to our customers.Positions Available:Lift Truck Operator – Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move raw materials and finished goods safely.Twisting Operator – Manage twisting machines to ensure yarn integrity and quality standards.Heat Set Operator – Oversee heat-setting processes for yarn durability and performance.Creeler – Load and monitor creels to maintain continuous production flow.Creeler Mender Operator – Repair, maintain creels and mend rolls to minimize downtime and ensure quality standard products.Key Responsibilities:Operate machinery and equipment according to safety and quality standards.Monitor production processes and troubleshoot issues promptly.Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.General:Follow all safety, attendance, and performance policies.Participate in shift communication and team efforts to maintain workflow.Work necessary overtime as required by production demands.Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or team leads.Qualifications and Requirements:Ability to bend, stoop, reach, pull, climb stairs and push repetitively.Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time.Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.Shaw benefits include:Medical, dental, vision insuranceLife insurance and disability coverageTuition reimbursementEmployee assistance programHealth savings accountPaid time offParental leave401K and Retirement plansProduct discounts for employeesAdoption assistanceShaw Family Health Center (Dalton, GA and Cartersville, GA locations)And much more!#ShawINDWork Shift8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to out-punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts PMShaw Industries is an equal opportunity employer as to all protected groups, including protected veterans and individuals with disabilities.
