Job description

Quality Control Team LeadLead the standard. Own the details. Keep production moving right.$29–$34/hr | Full-Time | Leadership RoleThis isn't a behind-the-desk quality job.You're on the floor, in the work, and leading the team that makes sure what we build is right before it ever leaves the shop. You're the point person for inspection, documentation, and keeping quality standards tight across everything we do.If you're someone who can lead people, stay organized under pressure, and hold the line on quality without slowing down production you'll fit here.What You'll DoYou'll lead the inspection team and keep quality moving across multiple projects and priorities.Lead, train, and support inspectors across manufacturingMake sure documentation is accurate, complete, and meets required standards (ASME, BPE, cGMP, and customer specs)Keep inspection tools, gauges, and calibration systems on trackStep into root cause analysis and corrective actions figure out what went wrong and make sure it gets fixed the right waySupport welding program compliance and quality standardsPartner with production and customers during FAT and key quality checkpointsManage workflows, priorities, and team productivity without losing attention to detailLeadership ExpectationsThis role is about more than checking work, it's about leading people.Coach, mentor, and develop inspectors on your teamSet expectations and hold the team accountable to themHandle performance conversations, reviews, and day-to-day supportKeep the team working together and step in when issues come upBalance urgency with accuracy especially when things get busyProcess & ImprovementWe're always looking to do things better. You'll help drive that.Maintain and improve quality procedures and documentationIdentify gaps in processes and fix themSupport new processes and make sure they work on the floorHelp ensure consistency across builds, projects, and teamsWhat You BringExperience in manufacturing inspection (process piping strongly preferred)Understanding of ASME Section IX and welding standardsBackground in job-shop or custom manufacturing environmentsStrong attention to detail with documentation and process controlAbility to manage multiple priorities without losing focusLeadership experience or readiness to step into a team lead roleProficiency with Microsoft toolsEducation/Training:High School Diploma or equivalent, required.Associate Degree, preferred.ASNT Level II, preferredExperience:Sanitary Process Piping experience2 + years of job-shop manufacturing experience2 + years of experience inspecting process piping and components Process Control ProceduresDocument Control experienceMicrosoft Software (proficient)Knowledge of ASME Section IX welding qualificationKnowledge of manufacturing procedures and processesWork Environment / Physical RequirementsThis is a hands-on manufacturing environment.You'll be on your feet, moving between projects and teamsRegular bending, lifting (up to 75 lbs. with assistance), kneeling, and working around equipmentExposure to welding and fabrication environmentsPPE required (gloves, safety glasses, steel toe boots, etc.)Why CSIWe build high-quality stainless process equipment for industries that don't have room for error food, dairy, beverage, pharma, and more.But what really matters here is the team.Respect-driven, team-first cultureOpportunities to grow and keep learningStrong benefits: health, PTO, retirement, and education supportCompany events, lunches, and community involvementIf you take pride in doing things the right way and leading others to do the same, you'll do well here.Equal Opportunity EmployerCSI is an Equal Opportunity Employer we hire based on ability, experience, and professionalism.
