Manufacturing Specialist I - ProductionAt Spartronics we build products lives depend on! Spartronics is looking for career minded individuals who are interested in the manufacturing & assembly of critical components for Aerospace, Defense, Medical and Commercial applications. Whether you have experience in the industry or are looking for a change, Spartronics offers job training, great wages, health & dental insurance, paid vacation, paid holidays, retirement savings with company match.We operate in a fully air-conditioned facility, daytime shifts Monday-Thursday ("4/10" schedule) with overtime on Fridays and/or Saturdays. This position works under close supervision to ensure quality and compliance with safety standards.Key Metrics and Focus AreasAccuracy and quality of completed production tasks.Compliance with work instructions and safety procedures.Production efficiency and teamwork support.ResponsibilitiesPerform basic mechanical or electronic assembly tasks following detailed instructions.Support masking, hand coating, and touch-up activities under supervision.Assist in box build and final assembly operations using standard tools.Prepare materials and work areas to support production flow.Inspect own work for obvious defects and report issues to supervisors.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation.Perform other duties or support other areas as needed based on business requirements or production flow.Requirements*We are an ITAR Controlled Facility; all applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Basic computer literacy and ability to follow written instructions.Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.Ability to read, write, and comprehend English to interpret work instructions, documentation, and safety requirements.Preferred QualificationsExperience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, ITAR).Exposure to electronics assembly processes.Physical Requirements / Essential FunctionsAbility to sit, stand, and use hands for extended periods.Visual acuity to detect defects and read instructions.Lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.Work with small parts, tools, and fixtures under supervision.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
