Manufacturing SupervisorManages more than one functional area of manufacturing, such as machining, assembly, tool and die, packaging. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. You will be the Manufacturing Supervisor for the Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control Production Operations team. Our team is responsible for overseeing all electro-mechanical activities, meeting safety, quality, schedule, and cost targets for multiple programs.What You Will Be Doing As the Manufacturing Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a diverse team to deliver safe, high-quality production on schedule while controlling costs. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Manage a team to achieve safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives for multiple programs.Resolve conflicts, build trust, and motivate employees to maintain a high-performing work environment.Identify and implement continuous-improvement opportunities across work cells and production processes.Collaborate with engineering to update work instructions, plan new production areas, and enhance existing cells.Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards while supervising electro-mechanical operationsAbility to work outside of standard schedule hours is required.Why Join Us The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting and is passionate about developing people and processes. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.Basic QualificationsAssociate's degree and/or equivalent experience/combined educationPrior leadership experience in a manufacturing or operational environmentFamiliarity with lean manufacturing techniquesMicrosoft office suite knowledge and skillsLead/participate in business meetings throughout the dayAbility to interface with customers on a professional levelAbility to track and manage cost, quality, safety and schedule in a manufacturing environmentAbility to define problems, collect data and make necessary improvements to meet goalsAbility to obtain a secret security clearanceMust be a US CitizenPay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $ - $ At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
