Job description
Manufacturing Operations ManagerOversee and lead manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are met efficiently and effectively while maintaining high quality standards and a safe working environment.Job Responsibilities:Supervise, train, and motivate a team of manufacturing associates to achieve daily production goals.Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and output.Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, quality control standards, and company policies.Schedule and assign work tasks, manage employee time and attendance, and conduct performance evaluations.Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and quality assurance, to resolve production issues and implement process improvements.Maintain accurate production records, including output, scrap rates, and labor utilization.Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning and identify maintenance needs.Troubleshoot production problems and implement solutions to minimize downtime.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.Job Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in using manufacturing software and Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.What's in it for youBenefit InsuranceFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Health Savings Account (HSA)Mental Health Care401K with matchPaid Holidays, Vacation & Sick DaysTuition ReimbursementPerks at WorkLEAP ProgramMyFlexPayEqual Opportunity EmployerWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, disability, or any other legally protected status.
