Job description

Manufacturing SupervisorThis position is responsible to supervise and drive continuous improvement for the manufacturing crew within the value stream and deliver business results. Assigned manufacturing crew is small and low/medium complexity. This position also ensures the value stream is operated in accordance with Andersen Corporation's values, employee covenant, and strategic direction.Position ResponsibilitiesDevelop and lead A3 Plan / A3 projects for manufacturing crew, utilizing current and future state value stream mapsDeliver business metric results (SQDCP), utilizing tiered management systemProvide direct leadership to value stream team leads and production employeesProvide indirect leadership to other support functions (matrix organization)Provide coaching, feedback and development to manufacturing crew and Team Leads, promoting career growth opportunities.Ensure the desired product quality levels are achieved through use of standard work and training to those standards, training in operation and inspection techniques, and use of tools/data.Promote going to gemba to solve problems, promoting hands-on approach toEstablish an environment conducive to high levels of inclusion, morale, associate satisfaction, and performanceDirection Of Others1-3 value stream team leadsQualifications And SkillsBachelor's degree preferred and/or combination of equivalent education and experience.3+ years of experience in a manufacturing operation2+ years of supervisory or leadership experienceBusiness acumen and knowledgeBudgetingCommunication skillsListening skillsEffective 1:1 and in groupsPersuasivenessLeadership skillsAble to motivate employeesBias for actionCollaborates with employeesChange ManagementAble to coach and develop employeesDevelops and maintains a respectful and safe work environmentSupports and fosters a continuous improvement cultureEffectively manage conflictTakes ownership and responsibility to lead by example and serves as a role model.Manufacturing knowledge:Able to facilitate kaizen eventsKnowledge of the supply chainPay Range: $69,840.00 - $104,760.00Culture And BenefitsAt Andersen, we believe our people are at the heart of everything we do.
