With a global network of manufacturing and distribution facilities, Atkore is a leading provider of electrical, safety and infrastructure solutions.We are currently searching for a Night shift Manufacturing Supervisor (7p-7a) with our facility in Byesville. Reporting the Monogram Metals Value Stream Manager this person will be responsible for supervising and leading the machine operating staff with an emphasis on teamwork, continuous improvement, and full ownership for the shift safety, quality delivery and productivity performance.Lead the Atkore Business System and Lean Daily Management within your teams and utilize Lean tools for improvement projects focused on Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.Develop and coach team members within the value stream with necessary skills to identify problems and challenges, perform root cause analyses and implement countermeasures and solutions as necessary.Control and optimization of labor, materials, and machine utilization to achieve production goals and meet the production scheduling plan.Manage vacation schedules and overtimeCommunication with all levels of the organizationLead by example and live the Atkore Values of Accountability, Teamwork, Integrity, Respect and ExcellenceHigh School Diploma with, bachelor's degree strongly preferredExperience in steel operations desirableMust have schedule flexibility and be willing to work additional hours based on business needsExcellent communication and leadership skillsDemonstrated ability to solve problems using Lean Manufacturing toolsElectrical/Mechanical troubleshooting skills of industrial equipment is beneficialBasic computer proficiencyUnderstand how your job will help deliver Atkore's strategyUnderstand your team's strengths and opportunitiesUpdate daily production reports and KPI boardsPartner with Safety, Quality and HR to investigate and provide corrective actions for on-the-job safety injuries, customer complaints, and labor relations issuesIdentify ways to strengthen the team's commitment to Atkore's Core Values of Accountability, Teamwork, Integrity, Respect and ExcellenceFully understand how you and your team impact Safety, Quality, Delivery and CostBe managing and efficient team that meets or exceeds performance goals for Safety, Quality, Delivery and CostCreate and update reports, training materials and procedures as necessaryDrive Lean Transformation strategy for your shift. Drive and implement projects to improve SQDCAs of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $ 62,560- $86,020 . Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time.
