You will also have an opportunity to interact with members from our quality team in Woburn, MA. Not only you will get to know how things work in industry, but you will also accumulate technical knowledge and skills and gain valuable experience. We are excited to have you as part of our team to help you start your professional growth and contribute to our success at Skyworks!Responsibilities:Working with QA Engineer to help address escapes to assembly/test and offshore bump/probeGenerating non-conforming material reports (NCMR)Performing routine electrostatic discharge (ESD) verification in the cleanroomSupporting process failure mode and effect analysis (PFMEA) reviewsWorking on automation and AI projectsRequired Experience and Skills:BS/MS student in computer science, electrical/electronic engineering, or data science, with an interest in the semiconductor industry.Available for 6 months, Jan 2027 – June 2027Technical skills in automation and AI (Ex. Python, Copilot, LLM, )Working knowledge of Power BIProficiency in MS Office toolsAttention to detail and good communication skillsCommitment to working on site for up to six months during the period of January - June 2027Desired Experience and Skills:Background in solid-state physics preferred (p-n junctions, bipolar transistors, MOS/FET/HEMT transistors, and similar)The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
