Job TitleMachine OperatorHiring Location1000 Parkdale Dr. Suite 1, Belmont, NC 28012Major ResponsibilityTo ensure that all machine operators are continuously supplied with raw materials needed to continue running production.Specific ResponsibilitiesExamples of key duties are interpreted as being descriptive and not restrictive in nature.Maintain required levels of raw materials at all times for up to eight machines.Set up all the supplies needed to begin production.Wrap all completed skids.Remove all trash, corrugated, and recycle from the designated section.Keep coil bins neat and rotated.Return empty coil barrels to the card room.Keep area safe and clean by assisting with sweeping of the designated section.Weigh and document all scrap, recycle, and bulk materials.Complete all necessary paperwork and all required documentation.Assist other positions within the department as needed.Follow all safety rules and procedures.Complete all special projects and/or assignments as directed by the lead or supervisor.Other duties as assignedExperiencePrevious manufacturing / warehouse experience preferredEducationHigh School Graduate or GED EquivalencySkillsAbility to multi-task and prioritizeAdequate English skills as well as basic math skills are requiredAbility to operate powered industrial equipment i.e. baler, hand jack, or floor sweeping equipment.Physical RequirementsThis position requires constant standing, as well as walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 30 pounds.Position in OrganizationReports to: Production SupervisorBenefitsPaid time offHealth, Dental, Vision insurance401K50% gym reimbursementEmployee assistance programLife insuranceShort term / Long term disability
