Manufacturing SupervisorYou will be the Manufacturing Supervisor for the Optical Components Center (OCC). Our team is responsible for the ultra-precision machining, additive manufacturing, and the development and production of complex optical components and sophisticated electronic systems. As the Manufacturing Supervisor you will be at the helm of coordinating multiple processes, ensuring smooth production flow, and meeting key performance goals.Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Prioritizing hardware through various production stages and communicating status updates to leadershipManaging quality, schedule, and cost goals across several work cellsCollaborating with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and optimize workflowsInspiring and motivating team members, setting high standards for performance excellence, and fostering an environment where everyone can thriveOverseeing the integration of fabrication, photolithography, and thin-film coating processes under one roofWhy Join UsThe Optical Components Center is Lockheed Martin's center of excellence for manufacturing optics. You'll be part of a culture that empowers bold thinking, growth-mindset leadership, and turning ambitious ideas into reality while enjoying flexible work-life balance.Basic QualificationsPrior leadership/management experience in a manufacturing environmentPrior work experience in a manufacturing environment of at least 1 yearPrior team leadership experienceFamiliarity with lean manufacturing techniquesMicrosoft Office suite knowledge, skills, and experienceMust be a U.S. Citizen due to facility requirementsMust be able to work 1st, 2nd, or Weekend ShiftsDesired SkillsCompleted Bachelor's DegreeExperience working in a Union EnvironmentPrior leadership/management experience in a complex manufacturing environmentExperience with tracking and managing cost, quality, and schedule in a manufacturing environmentPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $ - $ At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
