Manufacturing Team MemberPhillips Tube Group- Middletown (formerly Middletown Tube Works), produces steel tubes for highly engineered, severely fabricated, and formed tube applications in the appliance, automotive, HVAC, and recreational vehicle industries. A manufacturing powerhouse for over 50 years, you can find our steel tube in everything from your automobile, furnace, dishwasher, recreational vehicle, appliances and so much more.LOCATION: Middletown, OH SHIFT: Must be flexible to work on 1st or 2nd shiftPOSITION SUMMARY: The Manufacturing Team Members are a part of a crew that supports daily tube mill operations by assisting with equipment setup, monitoring production processes, moving product, performing quality checks, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This role is ideal for individuals with strong mechanical aptitude who are eager to develop technical skills in a steel-processing environment. Full training is provided.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist with the operation and monitoring of tube mill equipment used to process and form steel tubePerform routine quality inspections using gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other measurement toolsSupport machine setups, tooling changes, and mechanical adjustmentsHandle and move steel materials safely, including loading and staging using forklifts (training provided if needed)Follow standard operating procedures and all safety protocols related to steel handling and mill operationsMaintain cleanliness and organization of the work areaCommunicate equipment or process issues to the Mill Operator or SupervisorParticipate in training to develop technical knowledge and operational proficiencyQualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDStrong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learnAbility to work in a fast-paced industrial environmentMust be flexible to work on 1st or 2nd shiftBasic math and measurement skillsAbility to stand, lift, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shiftCommitment to safety, teamwork, and reliabilityPrior manufacturing or steel-processing experienceForklift experience or certification (company will train and certify if needed)Familiarity with hand tools, mechanical systems, or production equipmentWork EnvironmentIndustrial manufacturing setting with exposure to steel materials, machinery, noise, and moving equipmentFrequent use of forklifts and material-handling equipmentPersonal protective equipment (PPE) required at all timesShift schedules may include days, nights, weekends, or overtime depending on production needsCareer Path OpportunitiesMill OperatorQuality TechnicianMaintenance TechnicianLead Operator or SupervisorCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive hourly wageHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysRetirement plan optionsTraining and development opportunitiesHow to ApplyInterested candidates should apply through our company website.
