Job description
Manufacturing Technician B - 1st Shift FerrousUses technical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair plant production equipment. Performs duties associated with the setup of a variety of production equipment to produce quality products.Job ResponsibilitiesMaintains structures, electrical systems, heating systems, plumbing, machine repair, hydraulics systems for a variety of equipmentPerforms various machining or bench operations to alter and repair tools, dies, fixtures, jigs, gauges and guardingTroubleshoots and repairs equipment; performs preventative maintenanceResponsible for statistical process charting, interpretation, and trend-analysis in order to perform process or equipment adjustments to bring parts into specificationPerforms other duties as assignedJob Skills RequirementsIntermediate troubleshooting skills using mechanical, electrical, hydraulic knowledgeGood teamwork, interpersonal and communication skillsComputer skillsAbility to operate forkliftFluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or locationEducationHigh School diploma in equivalent education and experienceExperience Requirements1.5 years of technical experience using mechanical, electrical and hydraulic skillsPhysical & Environmental RequirementsMay be required to lift or carry products, parts, and/or other materials of various sizes and weights.
