Manufacturing Technician BBriggs & Stratton - Power GroupAs a Manufacturing Technician B your goal is to use your technical expertise, to be the go-to person for troubleshooting and repairing production equipment in your area. You'll also be responsible for setting up various production machines to ensure top-notch quality products are manufactured.You will do this by:Maintaining mechanical, electrical and hydraulics systems for a variety of equipmentPerforming various operations to alter and repair tools, dies, fixtures, jigs, gauges and guardingTroubleshooting and repairing equipment; performing preventative maintenanceResponsible for statistical process charting, interpretation, and trend-analysis in order to perform process or equipment adjustments to bring parts into specificationTraining employees; assigning and directing work; providing feedback to supervisor regarding employee work performance; addressing complaints and resolving problemsPerforms other duties as assignedYou are the kind of person who is/has:A team player mindsetEnjoys a challengeGreat interpersonal skills and communication skillsProficient Computer skillsRequired Qualifications:Minimum Education: High School Diploma or EquivalentMinimum of 1.5 years' relevant working experience to include; Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic skillsAdditional Knowledge & Skills:Forklift experience is a plus, but not requiredMust be able to use computers for email communications and data entry for quality/production systemsTravel Required:% of Travel: 0How often: N/AWhere: N/APhysical & Environmental Requirements:May be required to lift or carry products, parts, and/or other materials of various sizes and weights.
