Tesla's Cell Electrode Operations TeamTesla's Cell Electrode Operations Team is seeking highly motivated individuals to tackle manufacturing on a challenging new process. You will be working alongside Engineers to develop an advanced new product and be among the first individuals to work on cutting edge manufacturing processes within Tesla. This fast-paced team is the perfect environment if you are interested in developing multiple skills and having an immediate impact on the future of electric vehicles. You will bring a get-it-done attitude while successfully developing new skills and grow your career.Must have flexibility to work any of the four shifts.A: 6:00AM - 6:00PM, Sunday - Tuesday (*Wednesday)B: 6:00AM - 6:00PM, (*Wednesday) Thursday - Saturday*Wednesday is a Swing Day for day shiftsC: 6:00PM - 6:00AM, (*Saturday) Sunday - TuesdayD: 6:00PM – 6:00AM, Wednesday - Friday (*Saturday)*Saturday is a Swing Day for night shiftsNight Shift Receives 10% Shift DifferentialResponsibilitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Quality Assurance, to resolve production issues and implement OCAPs (Out of Control Action Plans)Complete documentation and record-keeping tasks accurately and on time to ensure compliance with quality requirements. (Flux, Jira)Handle MRB (Material Review Board) materials following the MRB process, including identification, documentation, and disposition of non-conforming materialsSupport the operation of multiple tools simultaneously, ensuring smooth and efficient production processesClear yield alarms and conduct initial investigations, as well as start basic OCAPs to address deviations from expected performanceEnsure a high-level product quality by completing tasks such as web path checks, audits 5S activities, etc.Participate in the continuous improvement of safety, quality, output, and tool uptimeRequirementsExperience in large or small scale manufacturing in a production process roleExperience with operating and troubleshooting automated/semi-automated manufacturing equipment, basic mechanical troubleshooting preferredDemonstrate ability to analyze problems and error conditions, identify root causes, and implement viable long-term solutions, Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles is preferred, but not requiredCommand of the English language, both written and verbal with ability to understand and record maintenance procedures, shift pass downsComfortable with frequent change of direction, dynamic work environment and passion to perform time-sensitive analysis under pressureDemonstrated ability to be a self-driven contributor with limited supervisionCompensation & BenefitsBenefitsAlong with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire:Medical plans > plan options with $0 payroll deductionFamily-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefitsDental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans, both have options with a $0 paycheck contributionCompany Paid (Health Savings Accounts) HSA Contribution when enrolled in the High-Deductible medical plan with HSAHealthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and other financial benefitsCompany paid Basic Life, AD&DShort-term and long-term disability insurance (90 day waiting period)Employee Assistance ProgramSick and Vacation time (Flex time for salary positions, Accrued hours for Hourly positions), and Paid HolidaysBack-up childcare and parenting support resourcesVoluntary benefits to include: critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, theft & legal services, and pet insuranceWeight Loss and Tobacco Cessation ProgramsTesla Babies programCommuter benefitsEmployee discounts and perks program
