Manufacturing TechnicianSTRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES develops and integrates products, engineering support, repair and maintenance services to provide value-added solutions to owners, engineers and contractors. We provide specialty contracting services through our contracting companies, and state-of-the-art proprietary products and engineering support services through our technologies company. With over 2,500 employees working from locations nationwide and in select international markets, we serve the Commercial, Public, Transportation Industrial, and Power markets to tackle the toughest construction challenges. STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES is the in-house engineering business line of Structural Group.TSTRATA STRENGTHENING SOLUTIONS provides comprehensive solutions to owners, engineers, and contractors through field investigation, engineering support, and development of repair and strengthening services for concrete structures. With offices located across the nation and select international markets, we serve the Commercial, Public, Transportation, Industrial, and Power sectors to address complex construction challenges related to concrete infrastructure repair, retrofit, and maintenance.We are currently hiring a Manufacturing Technician for the warehouse located in Columbia, MD. As a Manufacturing Technician for TSTRATA, you will be accountable for product manufacturing, packaging, and shipping support.The successful candidate will also be responsible for:Set-up and operation of production equipmentMaintain accurate production logs of finished goodsInspection of raw materials for defects and required traceabilityQuality control testing of finished productsPackaging and labeling of finished productsCollaborate with engineering and management to improve production rates and efficiencyPerform routine maintenance, cleaning, and repairs of equipmentOrganize inventory and maintain accurate stock recordsOperate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, pallet wrappers, etc.Maintain a clean and safe work environmentFollow all safety procedures and company policiesAll other duties as assignedCandidates who meet the following criteria may be considered for this position:High school diploma or GEDUnderstanding and experience with machinery, assembly tools, and basic troubleshooting3+ years of experience in a warehouse, shop, plant environment preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office products preferredForklift experience preferredUp to 10% travel may be required for this positionOur ideal candidate is solution-oriented and can work effectively in a highly collaborative, team-based environment; is approachable, empathetic and outgoing; can quickly gain trust and respect; and is able to establish and maintain relationships.
