Job description
Manufacturing TechnicianLocation: Malabar, FL, 32950Duration: 12 Months (Possibility of extension) Pay Range: $20 – $23.50/hr on W2 (All inclusive)Key ResponsibilitiesPerform a variety of duties in support of the Surface Mount Technology (SMT) process within circuit card assembly manufacturing.Coordinate and stage assemblies, components, feeders, tooling, and related production materials to support SMT operations and scheduled builds.Verify job documentation, part availability, kit accuracy, and work order status in applicable manufacturing systems.Support production flow by moving work through defined staging and manufacturing areas.Identify shortages, material mismatches, and process issues, and escalate discrepancies as needed.Work from work instructions, production schedules, travelers, bills of material (BOMs), and manufacturing system requirements.Maintain workflow efficiency, material traceability, and manufacturing floor organization.Ensure production readiness by supporting staging, material flow, and work availability for scheduled manufacturing activities.Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience; ORAssociate's degree or 2 years of post-secondary education with 0 to 2 years of related experience.Experience supporting SMT or circuit card assembly manufacturing environments.Ability to interpret work instructions, production schedules, travelers, bills of material, and manufacturing documentation.Knowledge of material staging, production readiness, inventory verification, and manufacturing workflows.Ability to identify and escalate production issues, shortages, and discrepancies.Strong organizational and communication skills.Ability to work under general supervision and follow established processes and procedures.Education & Experience:Requires developing job knowledge/skills.Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate's degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
